Room in Rome

The Room in Rome is a movie about two women (and one man) who share a passion. In fact, this is director Julio Medem’s first English-language film. He’s reimagined his famous En la Cama movie with two women, resulting in an engaging and passionate affair.

It’s a film that’s full of the wacky, and the beautiful. You don’t need a degree in cinema to enjoy this movie. Although the movie is not without its flaws, it’s definitely worth a watch.

One of the most interesting aspects of the film is that its narrative isn’t linear. In fact, the film is split into two distinct sections, each of which has its own subplots. For instance, there’s the romance and the drama, the sex and the comedy, and the mystery of why they were in Rome in the first place.

Tell It to the Bees

Tell It to the Bees is a love story set in 1950s Britain. It features a lesbian romance between two women. The film is based on Fiona Shaw’s novel of the same name.

Anna Paquin stars as Dr Jean Markham, a doctor who returns to her small town to take over her father’s medical practice. She befriends Lydia Weekes, a single mother struggling to make ends meet.

After her husband leaves for war, Lydia is left to raise their son, Charlie. When she tells Jean of her secret, she befriends her. Eventually, the two become lovers. But in the 1950s, same-sex relationships were illegal. In the midst of this, malicious rumors spread in the small town.

Tell it to the Bees explores themes of same-sex relationships and race-based discrimination. The film is also about toxic masculinity.

Aimee & Jaguar

Aimee & Jaguar is a lesbian love story set during World War II, and it is a competently made one. Its subject matter skews a little too far into tragedy. However, its ending is both heartwarming and moving.

Aimee & Jaguar is based on a true story. It tells the tale of a Jewish girl named Felice Schragenheim and her affair with a German officer’s wife named Lilly Wust. The premise of the film is that, in 1943, Felice gets hired by a newspaper despite not having a proper legal name. Eventually, her relationship with the women of the ilk extends to the point where the two girlfriends start a lesbian orgy.

The movie also boasts a slew of impressive feats, not the least of which is the fact that the actress starring in the role, Maria Schrader, actually has a daughter. Considering she starred in the TV show “The Big Bang Theory,” she is no stranger to the screen.

Duck Butter

Duck Butter is a new lesbian film starring Alia Shawkat and Laia Costa. It is a romantic comedy that was directed by Miguel Arteta. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and will be released on April 27.

“Duck Butter” was made in only 24 hours. It follows two women who spend a day together. In a series of sexually charged scenes, the two protagonists try to open up to each other. However, they find that their relationship isn’t always as it should be.

This is a relatively small film, but it does boast plenty of sex. These scenes are both realistic and erotic. And the chemistry between these two actresses makes them both compelling and captivating.

Although the movie may not be able to stand up to the more popular lesbian films out there, it still offers a fresh take on modern relationships. For fans of the genre, this film will be a must-see.

Rafiki

A love story, political satire, and neorealist fable, Rafiki is a Kenyan lesbian film that explores the traumas of colonialism and interpersonal relationships in postcolonial Africa. Set in a small town, the film follows the impromptu relationship between Kena (Samantha Mugatsia) and Ziki (Sheila Munyiva) as they grapple with their families’ political rivalries.

Rafiki is set in the African nation of Kenya, where homosexuality is illegal. But despite its political message, the movie is a sweet, simple gay romance.

The main characters Kena and Ziki are stylish teens with a crush on each other. They dream of running away together. Despite their family’s disapproval, they try to pursue their dreams in a conservative society. This is where they meet a man named Blacksta, who has no idea why Kena doesn’t want him sexually.
